Street Muses

A portrait from London Fields, East London.

Steven Kelly is a friend I have known for over 20 years in the retail world. He is currently the UK Sales Director of the retail company Wolsey Limited. Since I have known him he has had such impeccable taste in fashion.

Today we were celebrating his wife's birthday, Natasha at the renown restaurant The Wapping Project, East London. Currently the iconic Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto is having an exhibition of one of his pieces - the celebrated, over sized white silk wedding dress with bamboo crinoline ( Autumn-Winter 1998). He is one of my heroes of fashion, such an innovator and pushing the boundaries of design.

By coincidence he was having a meal with a group of his friends there. Not to miss an opportunity I asked if he would pose for a picture for my fashion blog which he graciously accepted...

Please visit his exhibition it is not to be missed. Also the food and service were impeccable.
A mention goes to the Director Jules Wright for her hospitality.
